Fraud warning
We take every report of suspicious activity seriously. From time to time we identify websites, messages and social accounts that use our name or names similar to ours without permission. This page explains how to recognise them and what to do if you think you have met one.
Why we publish this warning
Fraudsters benefit from trust that others have built. They copy names, clone websites, and sometimes contact people who have shown interest in a legitimate platform, counting on the recognition to do the persuading. A consumer who has never seen a warning page has no reason to doubt a professional-looking site that says "Pepperstone AI" in the header. This page exists to break that assumption: any approach that pressures you, promises certainty, or asks for access to your device should be treated as fraudulent until proven otherwise.
Cloned companies and websites
Cloned sites reuse our name, our text and sometimes near-copies of our design, with different web addresses and different bank details behind the scenes. If you suspect you are dealing with a clone using our brand, name or logo, do not provide any personal information, do not send funds, and notify us immediately at [email protected] with the address you were given and any messages you received.
We work continuously to identify cloned operations, and we are honest about the limit: some remain undetected for a period of time. Always verify you are on our genuine domain before entering your login details, by typing the address yourself rather than following a link.
Signs of a fraudulent approach
Treat these as red flags: guaranteed profits or "risk-free" trading; pressure to deposit quickly before an offer expires; requests for your password, 2FA codes or remote access to your computer; contact through personal chat accounts or social media instead of our official channel; deposit instructions to an account or wallet in a different name; and anyone claiming a "manager fee" or "release fee" must be paid before you can withdraw. Our team does none of these, ever.
Misuse of our name
We are aware of cases where our name and the personal details of apparent staff have been used for fraudulent purposes we cannot influence or control. While we sincerely regret the financial losses suffered by anyone affected, Pepperstone AI is not liable for fraudulent transactions carried out in our name by parties with no relationship to us. That is why verification matters: confirm every unusual request through [email protected] before acting on it, and remember that a message that arrives out of the blue is not proof of anything by itself.
Verify first
Before sharing personal details or beginning any business relationship online, check the company is the one you think it is: the exact domain, the contact details published on it, and how they respond when you reach out independently.
Report to us
Send suspicious messages, addresses and payment details to [email protected] with the subject "Fraud report". Reports help us warn other clients and, where appropriate, inform the relevant Australian authorities.
If you already paid
Contact your bank or card issuer immediately and ask about a recall or chargeback, then report to police through ReportCyber. Speed matters more than embarrassment; financial institutions can sometimes stop transfers in the first hours.
